Mermaid is a rambling rose of immense beauty with large cream, single petalled blooms which smother the growth in the first spring flowering and intermittent blooming throughout the rest of the flowering season.

Mermaid has the most ferocious reverse-hooked thorns and where it gets well established can cover an enormous space - definitely unsuitable for tubs on a balcony or a small courtyard.  The lush glossy foliage is a beautiful foil for the large open blooms.
