Bare-Rooted Roses for Winter 2023
… the first consignment of bare-rooted roses has arrived and they’re now awaiting sorting, trimming, labelling and then, after we’ve selected the very best for pre-orders, they’ll be set into heel-in beds so that from Monday, 5th June onwards, you may receive tracking notification from Australia Post that your roses are in transit but please note:

Please wait patiently while we dig ALL the roses listed in your order ready for despatch … remember, standard roses will only be available from July onwards so if your order contains standards, we’ll be diligently caring for your other roses in the meantime!

Ensure you have the area ready where new roses will be planted in your garden this winter and believe me, it’s never too late to organise yourself so this weekend, dig holes, pop at least 1/3 of a bag of quality compost into each planting hole and pour seaweed solution over the entire area at least weekly prior to the roses arriving …
Make sure there’s a light mulch over all garden beds – great use of fallen autumn leaves is to place them on garden beds or into compost heaps where they’ll rot down and be ready for spring application!
