When Diana completed a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle this week, I asked her to photograph it so that I could remind you of the absolute importance of retaining mulch over the soil and using organic fertilizer to ensure all fungi and microbes thrive in your garden as they, in turn, will guarantee healthy balance in the soil which grows your roses.
The puzzle indicates 15 different fungi and if you look closely, you’re sure to see at least one that you might have seen in your garden. It’s obviously very important to show-off your fungi when you see them by photographing them for identification but never, ever harvest them or use them in food production.
