HELLO DEAR ROSE FRIENDS ...

Sincere apologies for not sending out a Rose Rambler last week – lots of things got in the way and then we decided to treat ourselves and spend a few days in Melbourne to visit the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show which we thoroughly enjoyed and saw lots of customers in our travels!

Finally, we go back to AEST this weekend as the mornings have been a challenge because it’s still dark until after 7am - we’re early risers and love to make the most of every daylight hour!

Especially now, as we eyeball the next phase of our lives and have begun the task of clearing ‘stuff’ after 25 years of living in this little piece of paradise at Clonbinane.
Have a giggle

Q. What’s the difference between a dark sky and an injured lion?
A. One pours with rain the other roars with pain.
SPECIAL OFFER THROUGHOUT APRIL!
Because our roses look so sensational right now, we want you to take advantage of having them potted rather than wait for bare-rooted in winter.  Sooooo, we’re offering all potted roses at 50% OFF THROUGHOUT APRIL.
Ideally, come for a visit and take a car-load home – there’s a HUGE selection of varieties with David Austin roses, New Release Modern Shrubs, ground covering and climbing roses; old favourites like these beauties …
Renae Climbing Rose
Gallipoli Centenary Rose
Tintern Rose
Fire ‘n’ Ice
Perhaps our interstate customers will take advantage of this amazing offer and stay over for a few days at Easter – our region has so much to offer and this opportunity will never be repeated!
Have another giggle

Q. What happened when the owl lost his voice?
A. He didn’t give a hoot …
Enjoy all the moments of autumn weather in your garden – see you soon!

Cheers from us all at Silkies Rose Farm.
