HELLO DEAR ROSE FRIENDS ...

Our most sincere thank you to all of you for your beautiful emails and cards wishing us well in our retirement … Gra set up a “Good News File” years ago and now it’s brimming with positively amazing messages … thank you and please see this picture below which is a message built with bricks that our grandson, Cooper, made years ago and is appropriate to share with you all now …

At this time of year for nearly 40 years, we’ve been labelling bare-rooted roses – this year, the pits are empty here at Clonbinane but ready for somebody who is inclined to grow plants of any description in this magnificently fertile soil where there’s unlimited water sources to ensure abundant production!
As we negotiate for www.rosesalesonline.com.au to continue to supply bare-rooted and potted roses year-round, it’s exciting to tell you that we will now be able to post into both Tasmania and Western Australia from July onwards – this is a very significant change and will be welcomed by gardeners in those States – share this great news!
Have a giggle

Q: What do you get if you jump into the Red Sea?
A: Wet!
Keeping you informed, the new website will function from early July as we transition but meantime, there are 24 of our most popular roses available at the site we currently manage www.rosesalesonline.com.au and this week, we’re offering FOUR OF THE MOST POPULAR ROSES WE’VE EVER SOLD:
JUST $144.00 and we’ll post these beautiful roses to your door so you can enjoy magnificent fragrance, cut flowers for your home and roses in your garden that your neighbours will ask about!
Have another giggle

Q: Why are dolphins clever?
A: Because they live in schools.
IT’S RAINING …

Finally, Victoria has had lovely, soaking rain in the past week.  This affords a relief to our gardens as our roses decline into winter dormancy so there’s no need to rush with pruning your roses – let them enjoy a deep soak, they’ll naturally defoliate and meantime, you get your secateurs and pruning equipment sharpened and ready for pruning in July onwards.

Have a happy week in your garden where the autumn leaves might seem messy but will afford mulch goodness for your soil in seasons to come ...

cheers from us at Clonbinane
