Lorraine Lee hardly requires introducing as one of Australia's most popular old-fashioned roses which was bred by Alister Clark in the early 1950's at his farm near Bulla, Victoria.

Hedge-rows of these beautiful muddy-pink roses with shaggy petal formation grew in gardens around Melbourne -  always first-flowering in spring then during the hottest summer and well into winter.  Sadly, with development, many of the hedges are now demolished.

Do stop to smell a flower where you see Lorraine Lee still flowering!
