Eye of the Tiger (code name: 'chewbullseye') is another 2016 new release rose in the series bred by Chris Warner, UK from the species rose breeding, Rosa Hulthemia x Rosa Persica to create a stunningly pretty, eye-catching rose to add to your garden.

Bright, glowing yellow single-petalled blooms with a dusty-red eye smother the very healthy plant which carries shiny, mid-green foliage - it grows to around 1 metre tall.  For a breath-taking clump of colour in your garden, we highly recommend Eye of the Tiger for a prominent location in your garden - especially, of course, if you barrack for AFL Richmond Tigers!

This rose is ideal for growing in containers on a balcony too!

Potted roses supplied in 20cm (8”) pots throughout the year.

2024 Season Roses will be available for pre-order soon.

    Eye of the Tiger

Published by Kathy McLean on 15th May 2020

This rose has the most fascinating and romantic history, but even more than that has amazing flowers and fabulous glossy foliage. Its only demerits are that the thorns are huge and the flowers fade to a dirty cream - not unpleasantlooking, but not as eye-catching as the younger blooms. My bush flowers all year round, near Wollongong on the coast.
