Albertine is an old-fashioned roses and a very rampant spring flowering rambling rose of immense beauty when given space to scramble wildly - you don't get close anyway because the thorns are seriously lethal! The pale apricot/pink ruffle-petalled blooms smother the plant for a short six weeks each year when Albertine is a most spectacular sight. There will be a few blooms during summer and autumn just to remind you its a rose!
A most useful rose to plant along a boundary where intruders need to be hindered - no man or beast in their right mind would consider entering a property where Albertine is planted! Beautiful rose!
