Cherry Blossom Floribunda Rose is a modern floribunda-style rose sold under the “Cherry Blossom” name in some Australian nursery ranges, typically bred or marketed for its soft pastel colouring and heavy cluster flowering habit.

It produces medium-sized, very full blooms in soft pink to blush tones, often with lighter and slightly deeper pink shading within the same flower, giving a gentle “blossom-like” effect similar to ornamental cherry blossoms. The flowers are carried in clusters (sprays) rather than single stems, so the plant gives a continuous, romantic display through the season.

The bush is usually compact to medium in size with healthy green foliage, and flowers repeatedly from spring through autumn. Like most modern floribundas, it is selected for reliable blooming and garden performance rather than exhibition stems.

Fragrance: This type is generally considered lightly fragrant, with a soft, subtle scent rather than a strong perfume. The main appeal is its delicate colour and mass flowering, not scent intensity.

In short:

  • Colour: soft pink / blush “cherry blossom” tones
  • Form: clustered floribunda blooms
  • Habit: compact, repeat flowering bush
  • Fragrance: light
  • Strength: romantic soft colour + heavy flowering display

It’s essentially a “soft-focus” floribunda — grown for that spring blossom look all season long rather than bold hybrid tea form or strong fragrance.
