PAPA MEILLAND is a Hybrid Tea rose which produces the darkest black-red, unfading blooms of perfect form and incredible fragrance. Care should be taken to position this rose where it gets good air circulation and if you provide a little TLC, Papa will respond and produce beautiful blooms throughout the season.

For flower size, shape and perfume, this rose has almost no peer in my experience. It's not the most beautiful bush otherwise, and it's not quite as free-flowering as some other roses, but I really love it for its magnificence.
