Gra's Blue – MULTI-AWARD WINNING modern patio/miniature rose of incredible beauty, fragrance and proven disease-resistance.
Bred by Graham Sargeant, at Silkies Rose Farm, Clonbinane, Victoria this rose was on 27th October, 2015, awarded BRONZE MEDAL and THE GOVERNOR OF GIFU AWARD (JAPAN) for MOST FRAGRANT ROSE in the National Rose Trial Garden of Australia.
Gra's Blue is hailed by the growers and all those who see it as a true ‘little beauty’. The shrub is constantly producing tight buds of lavender/mauve which open to reveal a mass of small petals which last well on the bush and in a vase.
Growing to a lovely rounded bush around 75cms tall, Gra's Blue will be extensively used for those who love trusses of medium-sized blooms on low growing bushes with loads of perfume as the exotic, spicy and fruity fragrance is truly remarkable. The bush is extremely healthy and very low maintenance.
