The sun is sure to shine this weekend when the Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell and the Kilmore Art Society present the Kilmore Art Expo with Busking Championships held all day on Saturday … Kilmore will jump to the beat of buskers – such a fun-filled day as this event increases in popularity! 
Glorious autumn weather is definitely an incentive to get out and about. We drove to Kooroocheang last weekend to celebrate a family 80th birthday and despite the odd shower, it was a beautiful drive – we stopped for brekky at Woodend, shopped at Daylesford for a gift and then turned off at Blampied to arrive at our niece’s farm off the Werona-Kingston Road … we’d never heard of Kooroocheang before we needed to drive there!
Lots of folks say “where’s Clonbinane?” … you’ll find us just 60ks due north of Melbourne – east of Kilmore, north of Wandong and south of Broadford but you do need to jump in the car and come for a visit.
Silkies Rose Farm is a little piece of paradise right beside the Hume Freeway at the Clonbinane interchange … stunning gardens await you along with a warm smile, friendly bark from toy poodle, Mooi and more flowering, potted roses than you’ve probably ever seen in one place …
It’s wonderful to see customers walking around with their cameras / phones taking pictures of roses which they would love to have in their new garden.
