What an amazing rose event we attended this past weekend. Congratulations to the Committee of the Australian National Rose Championships and Conference. Roses and more roses, rose gardeners who showed their magnificent roses despite the most amazing wet weather conditions!
Well done to you all as we enjoyed precious moments of sharing this wonderful event and we encourage all rose enthusiasts to attend one of these events sometime soon!
Hopefully, we’ll meet you there where you’ll enjoy the company of rose enthusiasts just like you!
I’m always super-proud when I can get to Mother’s Day and still have flowers on our potted roses. They’ve been flowering since October! Lovely sunny days along with our diligent applications of the organic rose management program have contributed.
However, switching to a 100% organic fertilizer program has meant the sugar (brix) levels are higher thus retaining more healthy foliage and as I continue to say: more healthy foliage = more flowers!
People step out of their cars and are amazed at the number of flowers they see and I’ve never heard the word ‘lush’ spoken so frequently. Yes, our plants are still lush with healthy foliage so we’re sticking with our 100% organic fertilizer program under the guidance of Graeme at SoilCharge!
In coming RR’s, we’ll introduce the products to you. Our current plan is to post a sachet of “Living Earth” with roses this winter. It’s the core product of the program which has produced such magnificent potted roses recently, using it in your soil at planting will produce great results!
