ROSE RAMBLER 26TH MARCH, 2020… Hello Dear Rose Friends as we enter new territory in our lives with a pandemic of massive proportions – who would have thought this might happen in our life-time?

We would have been chatting with you at Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show today however, since that isn’t possible anymore, please know that we are very dedicated to supporting you via email: info@rosesalesonline.com.au or call us at 03 5787 1123 for information or assistance with rose gardening issues.

It’s here, it’s real and as of today, Silkies Rose Farm at Clonbinane is closed to the public.

Rose Sales Online will continue to post roses with Australia Post as they are still delivering, so if you need to send a GIFT ROSE because you cannot attend a family event in person but still wish your loving thoughts to be conveyed, any rose presented as a GIFT ROSE will make a beautiful statement …

It has never been more important to get out into your garden and let the sun shine on your face, the wind blow in your hair and get involved with your plants. Many of you will be working from home and possibly going a little stir-crazy wondering what activity to invent which involves your kids who are possibly feeling even more stir-crazy than you …

Do you remember being young and having freedom to be with friends, go places during school holidays; independence and a general sense of ‘hey, isn’t life fabulous’?

These are scary times for all of us so leaning on Mother Nature for nurture, energy and healthfulness will enhance our lives during these difficult times and we must teach our young people the skills of gardening … they will remember this time all the days of their lives and especially retain what and how you taught them!

Q. What do you call a sad spaceship? A. A crying saucer!

Please take care and believe that our great country will survive this pandemic as long as we all do our part to stay home and follow the instructions of our elected leaders. May your garden be a refuge and solace in these trying times.

Be sure to tune in for next week's newsletter as we have some exciting news ahead and we can't wait to share it with you!
