ROSE RAMBLER, 16th JULY 2020

ROSE RAMBLER 16th July, 2020 … Hello Dear Rose Friends and apologies for not sending a word from us last week – its been incredibly busy with every spare moment taken up with packing boxes of roses.

Rather than become stressed, we’re taking a different approach which is making a significant difference … please follow this email conversation:

Judy: Can you tell me when I might expect my order to arrive - made on 07/06/20, and paid for? I understand that Australia Post deliveries are slow at this time, but I thought that my order would have arrived by now. Cheers Judy

Diana: No, Judy, it’s not Australia Post – it’s getting roses dug from sopping wet ground that is the hold-up … I’m saying now ETA will be closer to end July … sorry for this delay! Cheers - Diana

Judy: Thank you, Diana. I appreciate your prompt reply, and as a gardener understand the difficulty faced. Judy

Diana: So glad you ‘get it’ Judy … we’re dealing with a whole new demographic now and they insist they want their roses ‘immediately’ … I don’t go into response mode anymore, I simply refund and cancel their order, then say goodbye!

It’s been a difficult season for our growers with such wet weather here in the south … the roses deserve our humble gratitude for their beauty – not this harsh, brash and desperately immediate urgency for their planting in our gardens – it will happen when it does and this season, it might be later than in other seasons but at the end of the day, as per their usual deed, the roses will definitely deliver – they will be flowering during November as they have done in every year hence!

Thank you Judy for being kind about the delay in your roses being delivered … so pleased that I don’t have to cancel and refund your order! Best wishes and happy gardening when you receive our beautiful roses later this winter …

Without saying anymore, please know that we are committed to delivering beautiful roses to you this WINTER – remember, winter runs from June – end August and your roses will be posted as quickly as we possibly can box them.

Australia Post are extraordinary with delivery times exceeding our expectations by days!

Covid-19 has impacted us all – we are shut down for gate sales here at Clonbinane since we reside in Mitchell Shire – please don’t come here as you risk significant fines if apprehended along the way – place an order www.rosesalesonline.com.au or email me for consultation info@rosesalesonline.com.au – this is just another way of doing business with you.

We have a beautiful team of people working with us to ensure our quality roses get to you in timely fashion – my job is to keep the dunking tubs filled with seaweed solution so that during their time in processing, no roots are ever left to dry – soaking in seaweed solution enhances the health and vigour of the roses; toughens them up for transit and makes sure that when you receive the roses, they’re ready to grow in your garden for years to come.

Here’s a conversation between ants:
Q. Dad, why don’t we get coronavirus?  A. Because we have anty bodies.

Please ensure you maintain good health during this difficult time – take a walk in your garden every single day for at least half an hour – stay in the sunshine when possible and be sure to have happy, positive thoughts.
