Belle du Seigneur – Modern Shrub Rose which produces continual masses of glorious clusters of bloom.

Raised by Delbard, France, 2002 this lovely rose is listed with the Delbard Grand Parfums Collection so yes, it has a fragrance but I find it necessary to cup the bloom in my hand, give it a shake and voila, yes, the fragrance is very discernible.

Belle du Seigneur has the most sensual tones of ochre from bronze to copper deep in the centre swirling mass of petals fading out to the sweetest baby pink on the outer petals.

The bush is very hardy with the dark stems and foliage creating a spectacular foil for the continual clusters of beautiful blooms which are very suitable for flower arranging.
